How to get there

Train

The Creamfields Express

We encourage you all to take the CREAMFIELD’S EXPRESS train from Southern Cross Station (Spencer St), Platform 12. It's fast, cheap and on the OUTPHASE, it's impossible to get a tram or bus or taxi, you could be walking or waiting for an hour. On OUTPHASE you may have to wait 15-20 minutes at the Showgrounds Train station, as we can only load one train at a time, please be patient, and wait.

The special train services (this also including Race train at there is a meeting at Flemington) that will be operated to this venue will be starting at 11:00 hrs from Flinders Street (Platforms 8 & 9), calling at Southern Cross (Platforms 13 & 14) and North Melbourne (platforms 5 & 6).

The forward schedule to Flemington as follow:
11:00 - 14:20 - 20 min frequency

All trains are scheduled to stop at Showgrounds and continuing to Flemington Racecourse.

The return schedule to Flinders Street Station (FSS) as follow:
21:00 - 23:20 - 10 min frequency

Return special race trains will operate from Flemington Race course platform from 15:30 hrs to 18:00 hrs and will NOT stop at the Showgrounds.

Bus

Bus stops are conveniently located on Langs Road and Epsom Road. Bus service number 472 travels between Williamstown and Moonee Ponds via Footscray along Langs Road.

Tram

Tram Special Services will operate the following additional trams between the Showgrounds and the Elizabeth Street Terminus

3 x extra Trams from 10:00 to 17:00
6 x extra trams from 16:00 to 24:00

Due to crossover renewal works that have been programmed, these trams will operate via North Melbourne as per route 57.

Car

Car Parking is available on site. Enter from Langs Rd and costs $10. Road access is 15 minutes from the city via Flemington and Racecourse Roads, or off City Link at Racecourse Road.

Entry

You may enter Creamfield’s through the main entrance off Epsom Rd. If taking the train you will get off at Showgrounds station and be directed to the main gate (200m away).
