There is no mistaken, that the three member’s of the Swedish House Mafia are always warmly welcomed favourites to our Australian shores… last year we bought you Axwell and this time round we have the much loved and renowned Steve Angello gracing us with his presence at Creamfields Festival 2010.
Steve Angello went to higher heights after releasing his remix of Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" in late 2004. Since then he has become one of the most popular figures on the international house music circuit.
L.A is Steve’s new home and when he’s not spinning or driving, he is busy being A&R man for his Size Records imprint. Angello founded Size Records in 2003 and inaugurated the label with the self-billed Simplicity EP. Angello also produced subsequent releases under monikers such as the Sinners, General Moders, and Who's Who? - The former two comprised of Sebastian Ingrosso -- while latter-day releases would feature other producers such as Luke van Laidback Luke and Innersphere. Further releases works with Eric Pryz and fellow Swedish House Mafia member - Axwell.
Steve's next album offering is a Mescalkid album which he says enters into the techno realm, and also on the cards is a collaboration he has in the works with N*E*R*D*, which came about after Pharrell commented that he liked Steve's track "Be", whils they were both visiting Australia.
Steve Angello’s sets are always energetic and captivating, so get ready to be rocked Swedish Mafia Style.
