Imagine the love child of the Misfits and Daft Punk; the act of conception would be grisly, but what a mighty offspring their union would generate. A formidable force a la the Bloody Beetroots.

Bob Rifo is the not-so-secret identity of the mortal behind the Bloody Beetroots. In the studio, it is he—and he alone—who is responsible for their myriad creations. When it comes time for the Bloody Beetroots to perform live they split into two: Bob Rifo and Tommy Tea. At the Stereosonic festival last year the Bloody Beetroots rampage was in full force, audiences went wild to their formidable powers.

2010 see the Bloody Beetroots heading into a new direction for the whole project… The live show has been given an remodeled and integrated by “Death Crew 77”, a revolutionary and anarchic “army” led by Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo. The project is clear headed, and visionary at the same time; it promotes the artistic exchange between Bloody Beetroots and their fan base, with the aim of creating a huge anarchic creative community. The strengthen of this initiative is the “The Bloody Beetroots Live” in which Bob Rifo, supported by two faithful lieutenants, will be performing their studio compositions live. The show has evolved into a full live spectacle on stage with real instruments, lending itself to a hybrid punk rock/electro environment.
